Tui Na

Chinese Tui Na was called massage or 'An Mo' in ancient times. Archeological studies in recent years have shown detailed records of therapeutic techniques used from 2700 BC.

As in any massage, the treatment depends on the individual's needs. Tui Na techniques range from gentle pressure, which might allieviate stress-related conditions, to strong and deep movements often found in sports massage. It also may include acupressure points, promoting greater response to treatment.

A stress-relieving Tui Na session may include a more relaxing, softer treatment, with gentler, flowing movements effective at aiding the body's ability to clear stress. Perfect after a long day, week, or for a generally hectic lifestyle!

Sports-massage style Tui Na is used to loosen tight muscles in our body that are often painful and can lead to longer-term damage. This will benefit anyone who suffers from muscular fatigue or joint pain. It combines manual muscle stretching with deep therapeutic massage and joint mobilisation techniques. A perfect pre or post workout treatment for the fitness enthusiast.

Tui Na can help relieve general stress, back pain, lumbago, stiff neck, frozen shoulder, sciatica, muscle strain or injury on any part of the body, tennis elbow, headache, insomnia, diarrhea, constipation, irregular or painful periods, common cold and flu, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, vertigo and symptoms of stroke.
